The Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC) showcases a rich collection of high-quality heritage content online, bringing together in innovative and dynamic ways the stories and treasures entrusted to Canadian museums.

The Community Memories section of the VMC are local history exhibits created by community museums and provide a glimpse into what Canadians have in common and what makes us unique. The following Community Memoriy exhibit was contributed by Shelburne County Archives and Genealogical Society:
Virtual Exhibits
Shelburne County Men: The Second World War and the Korean War
This exhibit honours the men of Shelburne County who gave their lives in the Korean and Second World wars. Their photos portray their youth; their letters and diaries, the countryside; the realities of war, their hopes for an end to the hostilities and a return home to loved ones.
